Database Installation Information



INSTALLING THE GUIDES

This database is too large to fit on a single 360k diskette.  It is
therefore supplied on the distribution diskette compressed in the
form of a program; the database is actually part of the program.
Running the program uncompresses the database.

To install the Guides database on your hard disk, copy the setup
program to the directory you want your database to be in.  Then run
the setup program, which will uncompact your Norton Guides database.
The setup program names are:

SETUP_A                for Assembly Language
SETUP_MC               for Microsoft C
SETUP_TC               for Turbo C

After running the setup program, you can delete it (the setup
program) from your hard disk.

Be sure to read the file README.TXT, on your program diskette, for
information about a new feature that has been added to the Guides.
